RICH POHA
Ingredients
- 1 cup rice flakes
(chiwda)
- 1 tbsp raw Peanuts
- 1 large chopped Onion
- 1 chopped Capsicum
- 1
small chopped Tomato
- 1
boiled chopped Potato
- 1 tsp Rai
- 8-9 leaves of Curry
Patta
- Oil
- 1/2 Lemon juice
- Green Chilly, according
to taste
- Salt, according to taste
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
(Haldi)
- Other vegetables like
carrot, peas etc. can be added according to taste
Method
For
chiwda, wash them thoroughly under water and leave them aside so that water
drains out. It will make them moist and soft for the preparation.
- Heat oil in a kadai. When hot, add Rai
seeds and Curry Patta leaves into it.
- Add raw peanuts to it. Cook them for 30
seconds. Let them not burn otherwise they will come bad in taste.
- Add green chilly and then add onions into
it.
- When onions get partially pink then add
all other chopped vegetables to it.
- Stir fry all vegetables for 2-3 mins till
they get tender.
- Add salt to it and again prepare the
mixture for 2 more minutes.
- Add Haldi and Lemon juice.
- Now add the softened chiwda.
- Mix all the mixture thoroughly and
tenderly so that Chiwda doesn't break much or stick to the bottom of the
pan. Cook them for 2 more minutes.
- Serve hot.
